CompTIA, Technology Computing Industry Association, the world's leading technology organization, has appointed Arizona Tech Council President and CEO Steven Zylstra, the recipient of the CompTIA Tech Champion Award in 2018. Zylstra joins Colorado Senator Cory Gardner and Massachusetts representative Seth Moulton to receive the honor this year. The CompTIA Tech Award Champion is awarded annually, where recognized individuals who are leaders in technology and who have worked for policies that help the IT industry in the country.
"Under the guidance of Steve, the Arizona Tech Council, the Grand Canyon State has made it a premier destination in the country for advanced technology and innovation," said Hyman. "His work that demands tax relief for R & D, plus staff training and significant tax cuts are some of the reasons why tech companies assembling travel to Arizona. CompTIA has been working with Steve for almost a decade and we are honored to give him the Champion Tech Award. "
